My Research Interests

My research interests focus on the behavioural and chemical ecology of insects. During my PhD, my researches focused on the oviposition strategies of insect parasitoids under intraspecific competition (sex ratio adaptation, host qualities discrimination, trade-off between current and future reproduction). During my PostDoc, I am working on volatile compounds which mediate both sexual communication (pheromones) and food attraction in Drosophila flies. Moreover, a strong interest for the study of both proximal and ultimate causes that underlie behaviour led me to a multidisciplinary approach of these themes.
